In order to protect the health and safety of employees, staff, and students, all those who access Pasco County School locations must self-screen for symptoms and other risk factors of COVID-19 daily. If you answer YES to any of the questions, you should NOT be on a school campus or school district office. All three self-screeners – the Student Self-Screener, the Employee Self-Screener, and the Visitor Self-Screener – are accessible from the district’s COVID-19 protocols page and are posted on each school web page.

Character Parade

Happy October! We will have a Halloween Literacy Parade, Friday, October 29th from 10:00-10:30

  • We will use a new parade route (Car Loop), starting with our PRIMARY (K-2 students) at 10:00 (arrive by 9:55)
  • Intermediate students (3-5), please come outside at 10:00 and line up along the walls of building 3 (Car Line area)
  • Once our Primary students parade around twice, we will line them up on the wall for the intermediate students to walk.

Please  encourage your students to dress like their favorite book character OR vocabulary word (4th and 5thgraders prefer this sometimes).  Talk as a class about academic vocabulary that you are learning, your class may choose to have a vocabulary “theme”. 😊

If there are students that don’t celebrate the holiday or don’t choose to participate, they can still walk around our parade route, or choose to sit in the Media.

Flu Shots

The Flu shots for students will be offered free of charge on October 27, 2021 at MPLES.
