October 20, 2017– Good evening Locke families. This is Mr. Wolin, calling to let you know that today we had an alarm triggered that set off our fire alarm. The Fire Department was dispatched and checked the buildings. They determined the building was safe and that no fire was ever taking place on the campus. You may hear stories from your children regarding the alarm and the fire men that were on campus, so we wanted to let you know that everything is fine and everyone was safe. Thank you, and have a good weekend.

October 19, 2017– Good evening Locke families, this is Mr. Wolin, calling with a few important pieces of information. First, we would like to remind everyone that this Friday, October 20th is the final day for the Free Lunches that were provided from the storm recovery. After Friday, your child will return to their normal Paid, Reduced, or Free status that they had previously.

Second, I need your help. We have received calls and concerns regarding car loop safety. We ask that everyone follow the rules of the school, as well as the law when it comes to driving and pickup. All cars, golf-carts, and any other vehicles must meet the regulations to be street legal. All vehicles must meet the criteria for belting children in and must have car seats for our younger and smaller students. Additionally, all vehicles must follow the procedure of following the flow of traffic to the parking lot or through the car loop cycle. These rules are in place to make sure that all students stay safe.

Thank you for your cooperation in keeping all students safe during pickup and on their way home.
